Charles Fortney
Director of Occupational Health
 
Charles Fortney has been here in Bowling Green since 1990, spending the past 19 years in healthcare marketing and healthcare service delivery. Prior to that, Charles was an award winning broadcast journalist. A graduate of Eastern Kentucky University, Charles is married to Connie and they have two sons, Stephen and Casey, who are students at Western Kentucky University. Charles’ interests include spending time with his family, recreational volleyball and golf and serving as a member of Living Hope Baptist Church.
Amy Gearlds

Nurse Practitioner

Dr. Gearlds earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology / Cellular Physiology and earned her Masters of Science in Physiology and Biophysics from the University of Louisville. She went on to receive her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Pikeville Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pikeville, KY and completed her residency at the University of Kentucky. She enjoys being a vocalist at her church as well as traveling both domestically and internationally. Dr. Gearlds is a welcomed addition to our Family Medicine & Occupational Medicine Departments.

Emiley Button

Nurse Practitioner

Emiley Button is a native of Barren County, where she’s spent most of her life. Emiley earned her Masters of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Western Kentucky University in 2003. She is certified from the American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) and is currently enrolled in the Doctors of Nursing Practice program at WKU. Emiley has previous experience in internal medicine, family practice, walk-in/urgent care settings, and nursing education. Emiley and her husband Brady have two children. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and outdoor activities.

Brittany Clark

Graves Gilbert Clinic is pleased to welcome Brittany Clark, APRN joining our team of Nurse Practitioners in our Occupational Medicine and Walk-In Care Departments. Brittany is a graduate of Western Kentucky University having earned both a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science degree in Nursing. She is a Certified DOT Medical Examiner and a member of the Kentucky Coalition of Nurse Practitioners & Nurse Midwives. Brittany Clark, APRN is a welcomed addition to our highly valued group of Nurse Practitioners.

Chance Tyler

She has worked in the medical field for more than 9 years in South Central Kentucky.
Melissa Baker

Graves Gilbert Clinic is delighted to have Melissa Baker, APRN in our Walk-In Care and Occupational Health Departments. Melissa graduated from Spaulding University in Louisville, KY with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and went on to receive her Master of Science in Nursing from WKU. She has provided the people of South Central Kentucky with quality care for more than 12 years as a Nurse Practitioner. In her free time Melissa enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, kayaking and camping, as well as making homemade cards. She is also an active member in the church community at Crossland Community ChurchMelissa Baker, APRN is a welcomed addition to our highly valued group of Nurse Practitioners.
