Charles Fortney has been here in Bowling Green since 1990, spending the past 19 years in healthcare marketing and healthcare service delivery. Prior to that, Charles was an award winning broadcast journalist. A graduate of Eastern Kentucky University, Charles is married to Connie and they have two sons, Stephen and Casey, who are students at Western Kentucky University. Charles’ interests include spending time with his family, recreational volleyball and golf and serving as a member of Living Hope Baptist Church.
Melodye Campbell is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and is a member of Sigma Theta Tau National Honor Society. As a native of Bowling Green, Melodye received her undergraduate degree from Western Kentucky University and her Master’s of Science degree with honors from Spalding University. Additionally, she received a Master’s of Science in Education with distinction from Chamberlain College of Nursing. Melodye has practiced in several different venues including hospitals, legal nursing, private practice and universities. Her hobbies and interest include spending time with her husband and two children, enjoying the outdoors, attending her daughter’s softball games, and traveling.
Katie is a local product, having graduated from Greenwood High School before earning her BSN from WKU in 2009. Her nursing career has included many areas of practice, including working in the Emergency Department at Vanderbilt and in Pediatrics for 5 years. She earned her MSN as a Family Nurse Practitioner from WKU in 2014. What she enjoys most about nursing and being a nurse practitioner is educating to prevent illness and injury and promoting a healthy lifestyle. In her spare time, Katie enjoys traveling, outdoor activities, working out, spending time with family, friends, and her golden retriever, Maisy. She is also a big Kentucky Wildcats fan!
Emiley Button is a native of Barren County, where she’s spent most of her life. Emiley earned her Masters of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Western Kentucky University in 2003. She is certified from the American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) and is currently enrolled in the Doctors of Nursing Practice program at WKU. Emiley has previous experience in internal medicine, family practice, walk-in/urgent care settings, and nursing education. Emiley and her husband Brady have two children. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and outdoor activities.
Haley Brewster is a native of eastern Kentucky, having been born in Harlan Kentucky. Haley gained a world perspective early on, as her parents became missionaries to Mexico when she was just ten. She attended junior high and high school there then came to Bowling Green to attend WKU, graduating with a BS in Nursing in 2009. She gained experience in the medical/surgical and telemetry departments at Greenview Regional Hospital, but pursued her longtime goal of becoming a nurse practitioner. She completed the Family Nurse Practitioner program in 2015. Haley hopes being fluent in Spanish will help her provide medical care for many area patients in their native language. She is passionate about learning to treat and prevent conditions with healthy lifestyle and hopes to help her patients overcome their ailments in ways that will help them most in their future. Haley has been married to Ben Brewster, who serves as University Pastor for Hillvue Heights Church, for seven years and they have a 19 month old daughter who is a great joy! Haley is very involved at Hillvue Heights with her husband and counts spending time with her family as one of her greatest joys. Other interests include singing and playing guitar, playing volleyball, and spending time with friends.
